Dr. Montserrat Andreys is the founder of HEART healthcare for artists (IG/FB). She is a sports medicine chiropractor that utilizes the principles of sports medicine and applies them to the needs of the arts community. Now, she shares her knowledge through social media, workshops, panel discussions, interviews and her work at the clinic.
Dr. Andreys became aware of the amount of repetitive stress injuries and strain felt in the tattoo artist community. She decided to bring her unique approach of educating artists about how to set up healthier ergonomic stations, using better body mechanics while they work, and showing them what areas to strengthen and stretch to help them recover from grueling hours of working. Your body can feel good, let her show you how!

Cover-Ups and Marketing your Brand
Nicolette is teaching two courses this year:
Seminar: Skin Variables and Cover-up Tricks
Seminar: Building Your Book of Business
When Nicolette started down the path as a tattoo artist, she had been so hungry for knowledge in her new career and craft that she had taken a lot of random classes: from the study of skin, scars, keloids, and cardiovascular, to the manipulation of the color wheel, to pottery classes, and finally welding. If it could be translated into something beautiful and artistic, she would try it. Now, after seven years in the industry, she has added Continuing Education instructor to her resumé.
When her source of CE classes closed up shop, she found the resources teaching CE classes were extremely limited. She proposed a few different courses to the OHD and they accepted them. Nicole is licensed to provide accredited continued education hours.
"I flat out love to teach. I find the more I teach, the more I learn. Seven years is a speck of time within this industry."
